Your platform fee is never shown to your client — it comes out of your payout, not their bill. Here’s exactly what a $500 job looks like on both sides.

That’s the whole checkout. No platform fee line, nothing marked up behind their back — just the job total and, only if you turn it on, a clearly disclosed card-processing line.
What you actually keep
Stripe’s processing fee is Stripe’s own standard rate (2.9% + $0.30 per card charge) — not ours. It’s deducted automatically before any payout reaches you, and can vary by card type. Turn on the card-processing surcharge in Settings to pass that cost to the client instead of absorbing it yourself (check your local surcharge laws first — some jurisdictions restrict it).
